COVID-19 SAFE POLICY

Arrangements to enable safety and care
in our regular in place worship together

Whilst COVID-19 State restrictions remain in place
Milton Anglicans commit to a COVID-19 Safe Plan and polices

See below for key details agreed by our Parish Council

Do contact us for further information - and to register for our worship & other activities
In order to ensure safety and care for all, the Anglican Parish of Auchenflower-Milton commits to:

1.    Arrange for those intending to attend worship to pre-register
2.    Appoint a COVID warden for each worship space
3.    Offer two worship spaces, the Chapel (up to 17 persons), and an overflow (up to 20) in Old Bishopsbourne by online link
4.    COVID wardens to ensure that all congregants sign in on arrival and provide details of address and phone number
5.    Ensure all required signage in place
6.    Mark seats with tape to ensure adequate social distancing
7.    Provide hand sanitiser at all entrances
8.    Provide disinfectant and hand towel for cleaning all surfaces before and after worship
9.    Communicate that there will be no refreshments served after worship and that the two groups are not to co-mingle
10.   Provide for the priest to hand sanitise before consecration and before distribution of just the bread
11.   Enable communicants to have the means and be encouraged to hand sanitise just before receiving the bread
12.    As the priest -in-charge is a vulnerable person, encourage them to wear a mask for distribution of communion
          and for greeting parishioners
13.    Explore a second priest or LA to distributecommunion in the OB space
14.    Remind congregants not to shake hands or embrace at the Peace or at any other point
15.    Appoint soloists to lead singing so that there is no communal singing unless outside at seven metre spacing
